Rick Hendrix has worked as a direct mail fundraising consultant since 1980. He is recognized as a leading expert on writing and creating direct mail campaigns designed to generate major gifts. Rick has developed three ongoing direct mail fundraising seminar programs for the Leadership Institute. In addition, Rick has developed a four-day fundraising seminar for Madison Down Under, sponsored by the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

Rick is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association.

He lives in Bristow, Virginia, with his wife, Taania, and his three daughters, Emily, Laura and Megan.
